Samata Samajik Vikas Sanstha was established in 1994, particularly after earthquake relif and rehabilitation work in latur and osmanabad in 1993.some individuals working independently for relif and rehabilitation program in latur and osmanabad district came together during this period.the group felt a need of legal identity to work effectively and on a sustainable basis and thus the organization was registered working for “SAMATA”…”EQUALITY”has been the aim of this group. Women,children and aged were the most affected groups and they needed long term,sustainable interventions.the group decided to undertake some specific interventions with long term goals.
